Homes evacuated due to gas leak

A major gas leak in the Belvidere section of Lowell, forced the evacuation of as many as 14 homes on Friday morning at about 10 a.m.

Companies battle fire that displaces 2 families

Two families were forced from their home but told firefighters they could find another place to stay after a one-alarm fire struck in the attic of their Robbins Street home in the Highlands section of Lowell Monday night.
